Is the Anchor holding you down ?

Welcome, welcome, welcome! I'm Queen B. Divine, and today on "The Cure is a Conversation," we’re diving deep into the emotional anchors that hold us back and exploring various healing modalities to help you sail smoothly through life. Let’s embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.

Understanding Emotional Anchors

Emotional anchors are those recurring themes or issues in our lives that keep us stuck, despite our efforts to move forward. Think of them as heavy weights preventing our vessel from setting sail. For me, it was the fear of abandonment—a deep-seated issue from my past that affected my relationships and self-worth.

Recognizing the Anchor

Have you ever felt like you're living the same scenarios over and over again? Meeting the same types of people, having the same arguments, or facing the same disappointments? This could be an emotional anchor at work. For years, my relationships mirrored my abandonment issues. I sought validation and love from partners, hoping to fill a void left by my past.

Breaking Free from the Anchor

To move past these anchors, it’s crucial to first recognize and then address them. For me, it meant understanding that my fear of abandonment was driving my actions. I had to face the painful truth and work through it, allowing myself to feel and heal. It wasn't an overnight process but a journey of continuous self-reflection and healing.

Tools for Healing

Healing is a holistic process that involves the mind, body, and spirit. Here are some tools and practices that have helped me and might inspire you on your journey:

The Power of the Subconscious Mind

I often read from "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy. It’s a profound reminder that our subconscious holds the answers to many of our problems. By passing our worries to the subconscious, especially during sleep, we can often find clarity and solutions.

Healing Modalities

1. **Astrology**: With the sun in Gemini, a time of communication and introspection, it's fitting to explore how our stars influence our mental health and interactions.

2. **Herbal Remedies**: From "The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies," we learn about black cohosh, a powerful herb for balancing hormones and alleviating menopausal symptoms.

3. **Crystals**: Aquamarine, a stone of courage, helps reduce stress and harmonize surroundings. It’s also beneficial for throat and gland issues.

Remember the joy of bath time as a child? My new book on Amazon, "Bath Time for Adults," encourages you to rediscover that simple pleasure. Bathing can be a soothing, meditative practice that promotes healing and relaxation.

Daily Practices

Morning Affirmations: Start your day with positive affirmations. Remind yourself of your strengths and the progress you’re making.

Body Awareness: A fun way to check in with your body is the simple song "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes." Sing it slowly, and acknowledge each part of your body.

Hydration and Nutrition: Honor your body with nutritious food and plenty of water. A delicious smoothie with yogurt, mixed berries, banana, honey, and grapes can be a great start.

Embracing the Journey

Healing is not a destination but a journey. It requires patience, self-love, and openness to various modalities. Whether it's through crystals, herbs, or subconscious work, find what resonates with you and embark on your unique path to wellness.

Final Thoughts

As we navigate the waters of life, it’s essential to recognize and lift our emotional anchors. Only then can we sail freely and live our best lives. Remember, healing comes in many forms, and being open to different methods can lead to profound transformation.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Until next time, keep the conversation going and embrace the healing process.
